Maine’s First Ship is now able to offer guided tours of Virginia including the dock, deck, and below deck areas. Our captain and crew will show you around and you can experience hands on the life of a sailor.
We are grateful for our Volunteers and Members who make our creation and stewardship of Virginia possible. If you are interested in becoming a member and receiving early announcements for MFS events, including future public tours and sails, please become a member.
We will be giving the dock and deck tours 4 times a day on Wednesday and Saturday from October 11 to October 21. The tours are at 10:30, 11:30, 1:00, and 2:00. Each tour is limited to 6 people and runs for 45 minutes.
The tours cost $10 per person ($5 for MFS members Deckhand and above).
You can sign up in advance for tours at the Bath Freight Shed whenever the Visitor Center is open. In October, the MFS Visitor Center is open fall hours of Wednesday and Saturday 10am – 3pm.
