Maine’s First Ship is a membership organization. When you make a donation of $20 or more you become a member of Maine’s First Ship for one year.  Cash or anonymous donations at the Visitor Center or MFS events do not count for membership donations.

Membership allows you to vote at Maine’s First Ship annual meeting held in the spring, and to be invited to membership and volunteer appreciation gatherings.

• 1607 Society $2500 or more
• Mate $1000 or more
• Navigator $500 or more
• Bos’n $300 or more
• Deckhand (family) $150 or more
• Deckhand (individual) $50 or more

Deckhands and Bos’n receive the core benefits plus regular updates from the Executive Director, discounts on sailing and tours, and a discount at the MFS store.

Navigator and Mate level members receive Deckhand benefits plus  discount rates for freight shed rental and excursions aboard Virginia.

1607 Society gets the Navigator benefits as well as an invitation to a hosted Volunteer and Donor workshop or a sail training cruise.
