Basic Metal Working

 Instructor: Michael Foster, Jewelry and metal-working hobbyist 

This three-day workshop teaches skills for crafting in metal. Participants craft a copper wind spinner and will learn to cut, drill, anneal, form, and solder copper sheets and wire.

Enrollment is limited to 6 students who must be at least age 15.

The tuition is $100 for MFS members ($120 for non-members). Each additional family member is $50. Supplies are $75 per household and include a butane torch, solder, flux, copper sheet, and copper wire.

  •   October 31 – November 2     1 pm – 5 pm
