This weekend program is part of Maine’s First Ship’s ongoing programming and a part of Maine Craft Weekend.

This is the twelfth year of Fiber Day, where Midcoast fiber artists come to the Bath Freight Shed and demonstrate their craft. Each year features a different mix of weaving, spinning, knitting, crocheting, dyeing, ropemaking, sewing, and other techniques. You can bring your fiber craft to share, watch artisans, or learn a new skill.

The event will be held both inside and outside, depending on the weather.
