This is the story of making the reconstruction of the pinnace Virginia, Maine’s First Ship, from the organization’s beginning in 1997 to public sailing in 2024. It is the story of a dedicated crewe of volunteers who did what was required to get Virginia sailing, told with pictures and text. It is broken into 6 stories, mostly in time order.
