This 15 foot peapod including trailer, two sets of oars, and sails is being auctioned to benefit Maine’s First Ship. Designed by Doug Hyland of Brooklin Maine, these sturdy craft are ideal tenders for any vessel, or can be used as a small row boat or sail boat. The peapod was donated by Paul and Claudette Garmache and they spent many delightful hours rowing this vessel near their home in Popham.
The peapod was hand built by Kennebunk Landing School in 2006, and has been reconditioned by Maine’s First Ship volunteers. You can see it any day the Visitor Center is open until the middle of October. For any questions see Contact Us.
